I just rediscovered a site I used to love a few years back. www.threadless.com is a t-shirt company that sells designs submitted by the public. Anyone can create an account and upload there designs to be voted on. If your design is voted positive, and enough people express interest in wanting to buy your design on a shirt, the company will print it and make it available, and they'll pay you, too.
The only thing I don't like about the site is that the community seems to be biased toward a specific design theme, and a lot of the shirts look similar, even if they are all from completely different people.
